PALAU DE LA MÚSICA

Built between 1905 and 1908, the Catalan Music Palace is one of the most representative monuments of Catalan modernism.
In addition to its beautiful architecture, the concert hall of the palace has excellent acoustics, which is why many famous artists have performed in its premises. (Check the webpage)

CASA BATLLÓ

Casa Batlló is a key feature in the architecture of modernist Barcelona. Antoni Gaudí built this building between 1904 and 1906 having been commissioned by the textile industrialist Josep Batlló. Nowadays, the spectacular facade is an iconic landmark in the city. The “Manzana de la Discordia”, or Block of Discord, is a series of buildings in Passeig de Gràcia. It is home to a collection of works by the most renowned architects, amongst which is Casa Batlló. The house, now a museum, is open to the public, both for cultural visits and for celebrating events in its splendid modernist function rooms. (Via the web)

CIUTADELLA PARK

The Ciutadella Park is the largest park in Barcelona. It has a monumental waterfall, a pond and a romantic English garden. You will find many green and wooded areas to rest in a very pleasant environment.

CATEDRAL DE BARCELONA

The cathedral in the Gothic district of Barcelona was named after the patron saint of Barcelona: Saint Eulalia; its official name – Catedral de la Santa Creu i Santa Eulalia. The name La Seu Cathedral is often used in reference to the church’s status as the seat of the bishopric. It is the most important church after the Sagrada Familia. (Check the webpage)

MUSEU NACIONAL D’ART DE CATALUNYA (MNAC)

Considered to have the best collection of Romanesque art in the world, the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) also has a good collection of Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance (19th century Catalan) art. In addition, it houses the Cambó Besuest and Thyssen-Bomemisza Collection, modern art, photography and coin collection. This impressive artistic collection is kept at the MontjuÏc National Palau, a landmark building from the 1929 International Exhibition. (Check the webpage)

BOQUERIA MARKET

La Boqueria is a famous market located in La Rambla. It is the biggest and most famous market in Spain.

You can find a wide variety of fresh products. Even if you are not looking to buy anything, a visit in its own right is warranted to enjoy the atmosphere and admire the explosion of colors of the fresh fruit in the stalls.

MAGIC FOUNTAIN OF MONTJUIC

The magic fountain is a spectacular display of color, light, motion, music and water acrobatics – if you mix all these elements together in just the right combinations, you end up with pure magic! The magic fountain is a “must see” when you come to Barcelona and highly recommended. Located in front of the MNAC museum. 
 
Opening hours: the fountain is free of access and accessible 24/7. Yet, the show built around the fountain does not take place throughtout the whole year.

SAN PAU HOSPITAL

The Hospital de Sant Pau is the most important modernist architectural complex in Europe, a symbol of the singular art nouveau as it is a medical center. It was here that Gaudí took his last breath. GUELL PARK

Park Guell is one of the most impressive public parks in the world. The park is located in Barcelona and was designed by famous architect Antonio Gaudi. Though never fully completed, it still remains one of Gaudi’s most colorful and playful works.

CAMP NOU FOOTBALL CLUB BARCELONA

The Camp Nou Experience has become an obligatory stop for visitors in this city. The Experience gives the chance to walk through the most emblematic areas of the stadium: the away team changing room and the players’ tunnel, the dugouts, the press room, commentator’s box and of course the Museum. LA SAGRADA FAMILIA

PICASSO MUSEUM

The place for learn about Pablo Ruiz Picasso’s formative years. The Picasso museum opened in 1963 and has a collection of over 3,800 items. You can enjoy this universally admired painter’s work right in the heart of Barcelona’s Gothic quarter thanks to this magnificent collection.

TIBIDABO & THE ATTRACTION PARKT

CASA VICENS GAUDÍ

Casa Vicens, built in the 1880s by Gaudí, is a mixture of Mujedar and Spanish styles. It is decorated with ceramic tiles and numerous ornaments. It is also the starting point of Gaudí’s career and one of the great masterpieces of modernism. (Check the webpage)
